Macau Trip Day 2

Macau Trip Day 2/4

Presenting my day 2 in Macau!

The toilet!

This is the bath tub on the right.
I am pleased with my room's toilet
throughout the stay.

-no jam in the toilet bowl

-the room service are done everyday

-big enough to enjoy a good bath after the day! :)
It was early morning 7 plus A.M. I guess this will explain the tiredness. HA!

Our bed! Not too soft nor hard, just right for a sounding sleep!
(Well, it did not take me a lot of effort to fall asleep after each day's tour:))

My first day's breakfast, provided by the hotel.

On the way, up the slope to the first destination of the day!

This is Macau's Television Network.

A bit more!

and more!

and more more!

FINALLY! After climbing the hill-alike slope...
First destination: IFT- Institute for Tourism Studies

This is one of their training restaurants.
They are only open to the public for breakfast. =)

There is a piano there, and Benjamin managed to
play the intro of one of Jay's songs.

IFT owns one resort which is open to public too.

The reception area

The reception

Aww.. I love the way they hang the flower!
If you pay enough attention, they have tubes with
water to provide the flowers with life.LOL. ;)

The restaurant!

2nd destination: Casino Career Centre (CCC)

We were the privileged ones as there was a miscommunication-turned-good. All went well when Miss Chan (one of the teacher in charged) sent emails to CCC, requesting and arranging for a visit. However, our aged was not mentioned.

Side track a bit...*The Government don't allow people aged 18 and under to enter the casino at all. Thus, this law applies even to casino training centres. Heard from Danny (the tour guide) about this 17 plus turning 18 years old girl winning lots of money and when she was claiming the money, the management of the casino rejected her as she is not allowed to enter the casino at all. However, this girl went to file a case, claiming that it was the casino's fault to allow her to get in in the first place. It ended up with the girl winning the case. Thus, the Government don't allow people aged under 18 to enter the casino-related places, and place more consequences for those who go against the rule, etc.

The mock chips and money!

Caspar the banker?

Was acting to be disappointed
(no winnings.. it is not switched on in the first place.HA)

Lunch at this hotel!

only took this one dish. HA. It was definitely nicer
than the seafood restaurant we went on the first day. :)

Next... The Venetian!

We were in the toilet. Classy!
This mirror is big, which equals good!

Sales. However, due to the branded shops there,
it was still expensive, to me! HA.

Was this Italian guy scolding at me? No, he was singing in Italian language.
We wanted to try it, but it was a lil' expensive. 20 plus 30 bucks just to and fro. Hmm..

He was supposed to stay still all the way,
as the normal gig would go, he will move suddenly,
to give you a shock when you take photo with him.
I was rather afraid that he would suddenly move then.HA!

He moved! LOL.

A friendly entertainer, riding on 1-wheel 'bicycle'! WOW...

Alighted at where some of the casinos are closely located to each other.
BTW, Macau has the world's largest and most casinos (even more than LA).

Final shot before we walked to the central of Macau,
where the City Hall is located at.

Finally, My personal Point-Of-View on the second day at Macau...

The breakfast was plain and has nothing unusual and to rave about, as expected.

Caspar commented that the students studying in IFT must be really strong as they gotta walk this long slope for their classes. Totally agree! We were all sweating like crazy man.

I experienced more of the bad air as compared to day 1. BTW, In Macau, you can smoke freely, even in shopping centres like Venetian. :( Oh, and at the hotel we stayed in throughout the stay, I was shocked that the lobby was filled with so much smoky smell (not from food, but from cigars...) and to my dismay, they actually have tiny tiny 'no smoking' signs next to certain level, instead of prohibiting smoking full force. The humility there was up to 80 plus percent, i guess. Sweating and sweating away. Bleah...

For the City Hall of Macau, as we went in the night, we were warned again and again, over and over again to be careful of pickpockets. So with no sense of security, we guarded our bags like there is precious gold. LOL. As much as we were looking forward to the cheap cheap stuffs we could get there, we got disappointed.

The brand available there is what we have in Singapore... plus, we went to the wrong side to shop ( Karen told us after we reached back at the hotel or something that she managed to buy some dress etc at some cheap price..) thus, we set our hearts to go back to the correct side the next day as we have our own free and easy shopping at night.

So what happened on day 3? Better or for worse? Stay tunned! =)

beyond the smiles, the laughter and perhaps idk, the strong and courageous girl you see is this part of me who is sad and discouraged. who tears. I do not know where to start and had tried a few times to blog about this, and then finding myself pressing the "X" button. so i will just share exactly how I feel now... you know, it is not easy. to see myself having ezcema. it is hard. to see new spots infected by it. it is terrible to find out occasionally after waking up from sleep that your own fingers, yes, are the 'killer'. all those times of unknowingly itch being attended by them. The spot of blood. the fact that i no longer can wear short skirts and what not. the fact that the scars are so easily visible. Hideous scars. the fact that it got so terrible that two of my colleagues actually asked if i had a fall. it sure did looked like it and i don't blame them a single bit. adding on is my knees who is generally weak as compared to that as a normal person. the ...

Relationship

credits : x the 701th post... opps.. totally didn't realize that it is already nearly a month ago since I last blogged; abt AC 2010... since this is the 701th post, let me blog about something a tad more interesting. (ya right, just an excuse lah. HAHA!) Okay, great... i do not know how to start... but still, i know i got to start it somewhere. 4 to 5 years back when Jo was around my age now shared with me that the topic of conversations is surrounded with the word 'Relationship'. Being an innocent young girl (which i self declared to be, still, HAHAH!!), i didn't know or feel the impact until i actually experience it. Friends will start to ask 'when, when'? or 'Jas, what kinda guy are you looking for', etc etc. Honestly speaking, i was almost totally clueless when these questions was first posted to me... and it was then that i started to think of the 'criteria' I look for in a BF/partner. Let me now share some of them... :) 1) He must be in CHC...
